Encounter the Safe Distancing Ambassador O-R3 at Bedok and Pandan Reservoir
O-R3, a white security robot car from Singaporean robotics manufacturer OTSAW, has been serving as a “safe distancing ambassador” since April, patrolling the reservoir and broadcasting safe distancing reminders. Originally part of a pilot trial by the national water agency PUB last year, O-R3, uses artificial intelligence for monitoring and surveillance operations at its plants and reservoirs in Singapore.

With circuit breaker measures eased, O-R3’s last day of work was on August 17th but will be fondly remembered by the regulars at Bedok and Pandan reservoirs.
