Robotics Project Engineer (Germany)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Professional in charge of commissioning the OTSAW Products including but not limited to Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR) and Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV)

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Commissioning of OTSAW Products from system setup to route mapping and product operations testing
• Attending to Tier 3 technical issues including but not limited to the major hardware or software issues via remote or on-site support
• Training of the Product Operators and Robotics Field Team in operating a newly setup system
• Executing other related tasks on behalf of Robotics Operations Team whenever necessary
• Assisting other technical team in conducting test and validation of product improvements based on operations criteria
• Preparing and overseeing of all project operations-related documentations for submission to the relevant parties
• Providing useful feedback and idea to the Project Manager in improving quality of work and procedures
• Working closely with Project Manager in meeting the team’s objective

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Computer Engineering or other related fields
• Relevant certificate or license will be an added advantage
• Proven work experience as Project Engineer or similar role
• Strong background in engineering or technology industry
• Knowledge and experience in Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR) and Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV) will be an added advantage
• Strong background in AutoCAD, ElcoCAD and any other design and planning software.
• Basic understanding of LINUX (Ubuntu) System and software troubleshooting will be an added advantage
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical / electrical prints and other related technical documentation
• Strong working knowledge of equipment, tools and components used in the industry
• Meticulous, organized and able to keep tight timelines with good communication and customer service skills
• Comfortable travelling locally and overseas on a short notice
• Ability to work independently and remain professional under pressure
• Possessing a valid driving license will be an added advantage
• Proficiency in German & English is a must, in order to communicate with customers & internal stakeholders
