JOB DESCRIPTION

Professional in charge of servicing and repairing the OTSAW Products including but not limited to Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR) and Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV)

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Servicing of OTSAW Products from assessment to maintenance and testing
  • Attending to Tier 2 technical issues including but not limited to the minor hardware and software issues via remote or on-site support
  • Training of Robotics Field Technician in performing Tier 1 technical support
  • Taking charge of the designated site in ensuring that all operations requirements are met
  • Managing of onsite team specially in terms of schedule planning, initial leave approval and assisting in escalating other matters to the management
  • Monitoring of the spare parts, tools and other OTSAW equipment onsite
  • Executing other related tasks on behalf of Robotics Field Operations Team whenever necessary
  • Providing useful feedback and idea to the Robotics Field Manager in improving quality of work and procedures
  • Working closely with Robotics Field Manager in meeting the team’s objective

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Computer Engineering or other related fields is preferred
  • Associate’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Computer Engineering or other related fields is required
  • Relevant certificate or license will be an added advantage
  • Proven work experience as Robotics Field Engineer or similar role
  • Knowledge and experience in Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR) and Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV) will be an added advantage
  • Hands on experience in mechanical/electrical hardware troubleshooting and repair
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical / electrical prints and other related technical documentation
  • Strong working knowledge of equipment, tools and components used in the industry
  • Meticulous, organized and able to keep tight timelines with good communication and customer service skills
  • Comfortable travelling locally and overseas on a short notice
  • Ability to work independently and remain professional under pressure
  • Possessing a valid driving license will be an added advantage
  • Physical fitness to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces
