Job Summary: We are looking for an electrical engineer who will help us advance our electrical products, systems, and applications.

On a daily basis, you’ll carry out various engineering tasks, such as design and test electrical systems to ensure they comply with functional requirements, the relevant regulatory and safety standard requirements. 

Ultimately, you will improve our company’s products and processes and contribute to its growth.

Key success factors for this role include good analytical skills with proven expertise and hands on design experience. In addition, you will need a flair for troubleshooting and has profound knowledge in product design and manufacturing processes that will be put into use while working on projects.

The role will report to the Hardware Design Lead but will work independently to support the internal operations teams as necessary. The role is based in Singapore.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and test electrical systems for OTSAW robotic applications.
  • Plan, develop, test components and systems to ensure they comply with functional requirements, relevant regulatory and safety standard requirements
  • Develop safety evaluation, risk assessment, and testing methodology based on international standards
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including Schematic Design, Cable Harness Drawing, Wiring Diagram, Bill of Materials, and PCB Layout for assembly and fabrication.
  • Support troubleshooting of current OTSAW products in the market.

Requirements:

  • Minimum degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of relevant working experience in electrical design
  • Strong knowledge of electrical and electronic systems.
  • Experience in Drawing Software for electrical & electronic circuits such as E-Plan, EAGLE
  • Hands on experience of crimping, soldering and wiring for power and signal cables.
  • Experience with regulatory and safety standards for electrical systems according to IEC/EN standards.

Qualifications
 2+ years of professional sales related experience
 A self-starter who is able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment without much
supervision
 Must possess excellent phone skills
 Experience with CRM software (HubSpot) and Microsoft Suite
 Excellent teamwork, interpersonal skills, and verbal and written communication skills
 Organized and keen attention to detail
 Enthusiasm for robotic technology
